  • I keep my dog on a lead, are they able to join?
No, sorry. We require all dogs joining our walks to be off lead and have a solid recall. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all dogs in our group. Our walks are designed to provide maximum enjoyment and freedom for the dogs to explore and interact with each other. Having dogs off lead allows them to fully engage in the experience and make the most of their time outdoors. We kindly ask that you review our new customer policy before considering your Labrador for our walks. We understand that this requirement may not be suitable for every dog, and we respect your decision in choosing what is best for your Labrador. Should your circumstances change in the future, we would be more than happy to welcome your dog on our off-lead adventures.
  • Are you insured?
Absolutely! I want to assure you that I am fully insured with specialist pet business insurance provided by Protectivity. This comprehensive insurance coverage not only extends to me but also to my family members involved in the business. Rest assured that it encompasses every possible eventuality, giving you peace of mind regarding any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the course of my services. In addition to being insured, I have also undergone a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. This background check is an added measure to ensure your peace of mind and confirm my trustworthiness in working with your dogs.
  • How often are your Adventure Days?
Thank you for your interest in our Adventure Days! We understand how much the Labs enjoy these outings, so we strive to organise them as frequently as possible. Generally, we aim to have Adventure Days every other month, with more frequent outings scheduled during the spring and summer seasons when the weather is favorable. To stay up to date with the availability of our Adventure Days, we recommend following us on Instagram. That's where we announce and organise these exciting events. Occasionally, we may even have themed adventure days, such as fox red or black lab-themed outings. However, please note that availability is limited, and it's typically on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • What time are your walks and pickups?
I don’t like to guarantee people times, as I don’t clock watch! Whilst I leave between 8:30 and 9:00 to start my day, everyday and every week is different. I also don’t time my walks. They are a minimum of an hour, and we don’t mind if they over-run! I roughly aim for my time zones being 8:30-11:30 and 11:30-14:30.
  • How many dogs do you walk at once?
According to my insurance policy, I am permitted to walk up to six dogs at a time. However, on average, our group walks typically consist of four dogs. On adventure days, the group size may expand to accommodate up to six dogs. For the comfort and safety of all the dogs involved, we follow a gradual approach when introducing new dogs to our group walks. New dogs will initially start in smaller groups of two or three to ensure they become familiar with the dynamics and routines. As they become more acclimated and comfortable, they will gradually join larger groups. Our priority is to create a harmonious and enjoyable walking experience for all the dogs. By gradually introducing new dogs to the pack, we can maintain a balanced and manageable group dynamic, allowing each dog to thrive and build positive social connections. Please note that the specific group size may vary based on individual circumstances and the needs of the dogs. Our focus is on ensuring the utmost safety, engagement, and happiness for all the dogs in our care.
  • What areas do you cover?
We proudly serve the entire SO22 and SO23 postcodes, ensuring that dogs in these areas can benefit from our services. Additionally, on Wednesdays, we extend our coverage to include Shawford, Compton, Otterbourne Road, and Hursley. This allows Labrador owners in these specific areas to join our walks and enjoy our services on that particular day. For our adventure days, we strive to accommodate Labradors who reside outside our regular service area. We can arrange pick-up points on route to our location or set up specific pickup and drop-off locations. This ensures that Labradors from a little further away can still join in on the fun and excitement of our adventure days. If you have any specific questions or need further clarification regarding our coverage areas, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are committed to providing our services to as many Labrador owners as possible and will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • My dog is a Labrador crossbreed, can they still join?
I'm afraid we only cater for purebred Labradors.
